Ali and I had a fun afternoon activity today. We read the book, Snowball Soup, by Mercer Mayer. Then we built our own snowman with his own snowball soup. After, we of course had to have some warm chicken noodle soup, just like Little Critter. I'm pretty sure I was having just as much fun as Ali... it was a little bit of heaven.
OK, so it should be Let the Messes Continue, she is child number four. Abby has discovered how much fun it can be to feed herself. She not only makes the food into her mouth, but all over her tray, clothes, and even in her hair.
Bentley started piano this year. His school class had a talent show, and he was very excited to participate. He played Deck the Halls and did a fabulous job.
Ali turned 4!!! She has been looking forward to this day... well, since her last birthday.
Ali has a special love for her grandma and was very disappointed last year when grandma wasn't able to be with her on her day. She also mentioned many times how she wanted a friend party this year.
Gram and Aunt Betha made a special trip just for Ali's birthday (Thanks Mom, it meant a lot to her),
and she got her wish to have a friend party.
Happy Birthday Ali! We love you so much and hope you had a fabulous day!!!
December first is one of my favorite days. My Grandma Hettie started the tradition of December first gifts, and we've added to it. It is so fun to kick off the Christmas season with some Christmas books, PJs, ornaments, hot chocolate, popcorn, candy, new soft flannel blankets, and even a gingerbread house.
