This has got to have been the fastest summer on record! I can not believe that school is starting again. After back to school night on Monday, Bentley headed off for "six whole hours" (the amount he figured out himself and has been talking about for weeks) of first grade on Tuesday morning. It has been strange to not have him home all day, but the time with the girls has been sweet. The couple of hours in the afternoon when Ali is napping and it's just me and Emma are really different. Still it's kind of nice to have some Emma/Mommy time. Of all the kids, she, being the middle child, has probably had the least of it. It's hard to let Bentley go, but I guess I can't hold on forever although I wish I could.
