Fifth Disease

Did someone slap that cute little thing? No, she's just got a classic case of "Slapped Cheek Disease" aka Fifth Disease. The crazy part from what I've read is that once the rash breaks out, the virus is no longer contagious. Its only prior to the rash or if there is a fever that it is usually spread, so who knows who we've been around who may also come down with this unusual rash which is red and lacy and is progressing all over this sweet little girl's body. Also, the incubation time is anywhere from a few days to ... three weeks. We may have cases in the household just waiting to reveal themselves.
